Hormonal imbalances in dogs

Nowadays it’s very common for our dogs to suffer hormonal imbalance.

Unfortunately, this problem isn’t on vet’s radar and untreated leads to serious problems like Cushing’s Disease 

Some of the most common causes of imbalanced hormone levels include:

🐕 Certain medications. 

🐕 Steroid use. 

🐕 Poor diet/lack of nutrition 

🐕 Can occur after dogs are neutered or spayed too early 

Signs of hormone imbalances in dogs:

🐶 Flaky, oily, or discoloured skin

🐶 Weakness and lethargy

🐶 Weight gain

🐶 Excessive panting or drinking

🐶 Appetite changes

🐶 Dry, brittle coat

🐶 Patchy or thinning fur

🐶 Itchiness
